Premium Call Recording
Call Recording is a service that allows a subscriber to record individual telephone conversations. The legal requirements regarding notification of recording a conversation vary from state to state. The subscriber is solely responsible for adhering to the laws in the relevant jurisdiction when using this feature.
Premium Call recording Configuration
- Follow the steps above to navigate to the appropriate Customer.
- Click Services in the main menu then click Premium Call Recording in the side menu.
- In the Premium Call Recording Configuration page you can select the setting for each extension.

- Always On – Records all calls made to or from the extension, whether from or to the PSTN as well as Extension to Extension.
- On Demand – Can be triggered manually via the star code *9 both to turn on and turn off recording.
- Off (default) – Turns Premium Call Recording off for the extension.
- View Recordings – When checked, the customer will be able to see their own recordings when logged into the browser client.
- Click Save.
Note: If reusing an extension, you must remove the extension from the disabled user and turn off call recording for that extension.
File Transfer Configuration
If a customer would like to retain recordings for longer than 90 days, they can enter their own SFTP server information to offload their call recordings.
- Navigate to the appropriate Customer.
- Click Services in the main menu then click the Premium Call Recording in the side menu.
- Scroll to File Transfer Configuration section.
- Next to Enable File Transfer (SFTP) click the slider, if it says No, change it to Yes.

- Populate the SFTP server information to off load their call recordings.

- You can click Test Connection to validate if the information has been entered correctly.
- Click Save
Viewing/Listening to Recorded Calls
- Login to CAM (CoreNexa Account Manager)
- Go to the Services Tab at the top of the page
- Click on File Access under the Premium Call Recording option on the left menu.

- The user will have the ability to download the recordings from here. See below.
