Video

To access the Video section, navigate to the appropriate customer in PCS Premier Portal (Automation Manager), select Services in the main tab, and then select either Seats, Rooms, Activity, or Meetings in the side menu.

Seats

Video should be enabled for all new customers by default. Enablement of video for an existing customer is located at the top of the Video > Seats page as seen below.

When enabling Video for an existing customer the partner will be prompted as to whether a welcome email should be sent (see prompt below). The partner will also be prompted to send the welcome email for any user that is selected to be enabled. To enable video for specific users you can either:

  1. Check the box next to their name and pick Enable from the Actions menu. Or,
  2. Click directly on the Status toggle at the right of each user’s entry.

Additionally a welcome email can be sent after the fact from the Actions menu.

Rooms

Rooms are created by partners only as they are a paid feature. To create a room, click on the Create Room button at the top of the Video > Rooms page. To edit a room, click on the room name. Customer users who have the Admin checkbox will be able to edit rooms for all users in the customer account, whereas users who don’t have Admin checked will only be able to edit their own rooms.

Create a room

A room must have a Name, Owner and Moderator PIN. The Moderator and Access PINs are generated automatically and randomly. The access PIN may be removed if a PIN is not desired for the room (PINs must be exactly 4 numeric digits).

Video and audio can be set to User Selection or Force Mute on entry to a room.

Additionally, customer users can also be set as moderators. Highlight the additional moderators and click on Add to move them to Selected Users box. The Moderator PIN can also be shared with users and they can make themselves a moderator while in the meeting.

Click the Create once done.

Activity

The Video Activity page allows the user to identify meeting and room creation going on in the account. Filters and search near the top of the page allow the user to locate a meeting or room they might be trying to find.
