Contacts

The contacts menu on the left side of CoreNexa will open a pane where using a dropdown menu you can choose to view either the CommunityPersonal, or Speed Dial contacts.

If you are in a larger community, using the search box might be useful to locate a contact (as seen below, entered ‘demo’ in search).

Clicking on a contact will bring up that contact’s contact card in the right hand side of the screen. This allows the user to start chat conversations, video meetings with other members of your community, emailing them, place calls to them, or tagging them as a Favorite contact.

Community Contacts

Choosing Community in the dropdown menu will result in the client showing you the contacts within your community. The contacts within your Community are further broken down into those marked as FavoritesOnline, and Offline, with each category being collapsible to limit or expand the contacts you are viewing.

Personal Contacts

Choosing Personal in the dropdown menu will result in the client showing you the contacts which you have added. To add a contact click on the Plus (+) button found above the list of contacts or to delete a personal contact click the contact first to open the details then click on the Delete Contact button (trashcan icon).

Speed Dial Contacts

Choosing Speed Dial in the dropdown menu will result in the client showing your set speed dial contacts. To add/edit/delete the assigned speed dial numbers (Some Speed Dial entries can’t be edited or deleted) click the Pencil button above the list of contacts to view the Speed Dial entries. Then:

  • To Add a Speed Dial click the Plus button above and a new entry will appear where you can set the speed dial key, number, and label, then click the Save button (floppy disk icon) to the right of the new speed dial entry.
  • To Edit a Speed Dial change any of the editable fields and click the SPEED_DIAL.SAVE link to the right of the edited entry to save any changes.
  • To Delete a Speed Dial click the Delete button (trashcan icon) found to the right of the speed dial entry.
