Invoices
The Invoices screen displays a historic list of all invoices, both paid and unpaid, plus links to view the Invoice Details. The list is sorted by Invoice Date in reverse chronological order by default.
You can search for a specific Invoice ID or a date range of invoices. You can also view the details of any invoice, including an Account Summary, Monthly Recurring Charges (MRC), the Non-Recurring Charges (NRC), the Taxes and Fees and a Transaction History for a specific invoice.
Locating Invoices
From any Level 2 Service Provider screen:
- Click Accounting in the main menu.
- Click Invoices in the side menu.
- Type all or part of a customer name or Invoice ID the Search box at the top right of the screen.
- Results will display automatically.
- To limit the search results by date, enter a date range or click the calendar icon and choose a date.
- To clear the search results, click the x in the Search box.
Viewing Invoice Details
- Follow the steps above to navigate to Invoices.
- Click the magnifying glass icon for the Invoice ID and the Invoice Detail screen will be displayed.
Taxes
Taxes are automatically calculated using the following information:
- Each Item’s Price, Quantity, and Tax Class(es).
- Customer Site Address and Tax Exempt status.
- Service Provider Nexus selections.
- Current date.
- All Proposal tax calculations are based on estimates. The actual amounts may be different on Invoices.
- Other Regulatory Taxes and Fees represents the combined total of all state and local taxes that are not included in any other tax categories.
- The line item detail for this category is displayed if the System Tax Automation Multi Site Proposal Template – v2017 (or a clone) is activated.
- Details are only displayed on the Invoice if required by state or local jurisdictions (based on the Customer’s Site Address).
If the Invoice was just created, then taxes may still be calculating.
Downloading an Invoice (PDF): Manual
- Click the View icon (magnifying glass) to the left of the Invoice ID column.
- Click the Download or View link in the Customer Information section.

Call Detail Records
If your customer has over 10,000 call records, they will have the option to download a CSV File separately from their invoice.
- Click on Download CSV File to download the Call Detail Records. See screenshot below.
Please note that this field will only show for a customer that has more than 10,000 call detail records. If they have less than 10,000 call detail records, that information will be on their normal invoice. They will only see the screenshot above and not have the ability to download the call detail records separate from the invoice.

Downloading an Invoice (PDF): Automated
You may configure customers to automatically download invoices from the Invoice Available Notification email templates.
The External Account Number field will be populated on the Invoice Details screen if an External Account Number was set up in the Customer’s Account Settings. However, the External Account Number will not be displayed on the PDF version of the Invoice.
Invoice Detail by Customer
To view a list of invoices for a specific customer:
- Drill down to the Customer’s Organization in CAM.
- Check the breadcrumbs to verify you are in the correct Customer’s menu.
- Click Accounting in the main menu.
- Click Invoices in the side menu.
- Click the View icon (magnifying glass) to the left of the Invoice ID column. The Invoice Detail screen is displayed.
