Call Activity Reports

Call Activity reports are exportable reports that show inbound or outbound call activity.

To view a customer’s call activity navigate to the customer’s report tab:

  1. From any Level 2 screen, click Customers in the main menu then click the Customer’s Name.
  1. Select Reports in the main menu. This should automatically bring you to the Call Activity Report page, if not, click Activity in the side menu.

Filtering Your Call Activity Report

To modify the default data that displays on the Call Activity screen, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to your Customer’s view.
  2. Select Reports in the main menu. This should automatically bring you to the Call Activity Report page, if not, click Activity in the side menu.
  1. Select your report criteria as needed:
  • Select Dates – Click to choose a preset date range or choose Custom Range to set a Start and End date then click Apply.


NOTE: Activity report searches are limited to a maximum range of 90 days.

  • Call Type – use the dropdown list to choose which type of call(s) to display on the report:
    • Incoming – external calls placed to your Hosted PBX
    • Outgoing – external calls placed from your Hosted PBX
    • Incoming & Outgoing  both call types in one report
    • Internal – calls placed within your Hosted PBX (e.g., extension-to-extension)
    • All Calls – every call type (incoming, outgoing, internal, and fax line)
    • Fax Line Calls– faxes sent and received
    • Filter By – (This filter is not available if Call Type chosen is Internal, All Calls, or Fax Line Calls) The default report for Incoming and/or Outgoing calls includes data for all phone numbers and/or all extensions. Use the dropdown list to apply an extra filter by Phone Number or Extension:
    • Do Not Filter – select if you do not want to filter by a phone number or extensions
    • Phone Number – select if you want to filter the report by a specific phone number and then choose the phone number
  • Extension – select if you want to filter the report by a specific extension and then choose the extension(s)
  • Change the default setting if you want to run a report for a different time zone
    1. Click the first box and select a country or UTCThe list is sorted by continent, then country.
    2. Click the second box and select the GMT offset.
  • Once all criteria has been updated, click the Search button to see your results. 
  • You can use the search box to filter even further. It searches both in the From and To fields.
  • To clear the search results, click x in the Search box.

Call Activity Report Details

Each Call Activity Report includes data underneath the corresponding column label. These columns include:

  • Date/Time – Format: MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS
  • Duration – Format: HH:MM:SS
  • Call Type – Incoming/Outgoing
  • From – The phone number that initiated the call
  • Caller MOS (Mean Opinion Score) – MOS Score details for the calling party
  • To – The number or contact that answered the call
  • Called MOS (Mean Opinion Score) – MOS Score details for the called party
  • Acct. Code – Account Code Used (if applicable)
  • Extension – Extension dialed (if applicable)
  • Disposition – Answered/Unanswered

MOS (Mean Opinion Score) Details

When selecting a colored number underneath either the ‘Caller MOS’ column or the ‘Called MOS’ column, you will be able to see additional details about each party during the call.

Mean Opinion Score Details include the following details for the party selected:

  • User Agent Name
  • The Codec used during the call

Exporting the Call Activity List

  1. Filter the shown activities as needed using the steps in the previous section.
  2. Click the Export button near the Search box.
  1. A download will be initiated of the file in CSV format.

Other Activity Reports

There are 4 specific customer activity reports found beneath Activity in the side menu:

  • Activity Graph
  • Path Usage
  • SMS
  • Hosted Fax

Activity Graph

The Activity Graph, displays the activity report based on start and end date, graph type, and call type selected.

Path Usage

The Path Usage Activity Report, shows the max virtual call path usage per day based on Zoom Level and Start Date selected.

SMS

The SMS Activity Report shows inbound and outbound SMS usage per user per phone number based on the start and end date range.

Hosted Fax

The Hosted Fax Activity Report shows new Hosted Fax activity searchable by incoming/outgoing, but not an explicit confirmation.
