Call Notification
If a 911 call is made from any phone, extension, or softphone within a Customer’s organization, an Emergency Alert Notification will automatically be sent to the recipients specified on the Call Notification screen. Multiple recipients can be configured to receive notifications via email, text message, or both.
Before Beginning
- Make sure you have configured the Emergency Alert Email and Text Notification Templates.
- Drill down to the Customer Level menus.
From any Customer Level screen:
1. Click the Settings tab in the Main Menu.
2. Click Call Notifications in the side menu. The Call Notification screen is displayed.

3. Complete any or all of the items below:
Contact Type Recipients
- Select one or more standard Contact Types to receive Emergency Alert Notifications.
- Note: Contact Types will receive emails only, not text messages.
Additional Email Recipients:
- Select the checkbox for email address.
- Enter email addresses of one or more recipients.
- Separate multiple address with a comma
- If you already selected a user based on Contact Type, do not re-enter their email address here.
Text Message Recipients
- Select the checkbox for SMS address.
- Enter SMS addresses of one or more recipients. Separate multiple entries with a comma.
- Separate multiple address with a comma
- If any Contact Types (selected above) should also receive text messages, enter their SMS address here.
4. Click Save.
