Message Center
The Message Center screen displays your inbox.

Searching for Messages
By default, the most recent messages are displayed at the top of the inbox. To search for a message, enter any part of the sender’s name or any part of the Subject text into the Search box. Tip: If all messages are not visible, click x to clear the Search box.

Manage the Inbox
Icons (to the left of the Subject column) identify the type of message as follows:

- Messages – Envelope icon indicates a generic message that allows you to communicate with all users. These portal-related messages do not display in your email application.

- Notifications – Triangle icon indicates a notice about an upcoming configuration change or a maintenance window.

- Alerts – Stop Sign icon indicates important content such as System updates, changes, or notices.

- Announcements – Megaphone icon indicates messages from CoreDial that require immediate attention. These were originally displayed in a pop up window and you manually moved them to the inbox.
Action buttons in the left column can be selected for any message:

- Magnifying glass – click to view a message. The Message Detail screen opens to display the contents.
- Circle X – click to Delete.
- File Cabinet – click to Archive button below the message text.
Manage Announcements
Announcements require immediate attention and are displayed in a pop-up window on the screen.
- A pop-up window appears as soon as the Announcement is sent, and the user must respond using one of the options below.
- If there are multiple Announcements, additional pop-ups appear whenever the screen is refreshed. This continues until all Announcements are acted upon or Read All is selected.
- The total number of Announcements is displayed in the upper right corner.
Options
| Read More | Opens the Message Center and displays the current Announcement. If there are multiple Announcements, a pop-up with the next Announcement will appear on whatever screen is opened text. |
| Read All | Opens the Message Center and displays a list of all Announcement (type) messages in the Inbox. All Announcements are moved to the Message Center inbox, and the pop-up window will no longer appear. |
| View Next | Sequentially displays each Announcement window. Each closed Announcement is moved to the Message Center inbox. |
| Dismiss | This option is only presented when the last Announcement window is displayed. It closes the pop-up window and moves the Announcement to the Message Center inbox. |
| Dismiss All | Closes the pop-up window and moves all Announcements to the Message Center inbox. This option is similar to Read All, but the Message Center screen isn’t displayed. |
