Messages

The Messages screen is where 1:1/group Chat/SMS messages are located.

Important Note: All messaging traffic from CoreNexa to its upstream providers is considered A2P and must comply with A2P/10DLC carrier policies, including the requirement to register a Messaging Brand and Campaign.

All SMS delivery messaging applications such as CoreNexa (browser and desktop app), CoreNexa mobile, and Contact Center Professional include the requirement to become compliant before they are allowed to send messages. 

Retrieving Chat and Text Messages

  1. Click on Messages from the main menu.
  • A red new messages badge will appear if there are new messages available. 
  • Existing conversations will be shown in the white panel. 
  1. Click on the message that you want to view and or respond to.
  • Any conversations with new messages will have the other party’s name in bold.
  • Chat messages are shown as default. So see your Text messages click on Text tab. 
  1. Once the conversation is open you can type in your message or attach files if needed and then press the Send button to send your message.

To leave the conversation click on the menu button on the upper right area of the conversation and press the Leave button.

Sending A New Chat or Text Message

  1. Click on Messages from the main menu.
  1. Click on the Chat or Text tab and click on the plus sign at the top right corner of the screen to start a conversation in either one.
  1. In the To field:
    1. For Chat – start typing a name to search for a contact and click their name to add. You can repeat to start a group chat. To remove a contact click the X beside their name.
  1. For Text – start typing a name or number to search for a contact or click the Add Contact button beside the To field and select from either your Favorites, Community, Personal, or Local contacts and click their name to add them to the conversation. You can repeat to start a group chat. To remove a contact click the X beside their name.
  1. Type in your message or attach files if needed and then press the Send button to send your message.
